Never listen to what 99% of soccer players say in an interview. He only mentioned that because the reporter was American. Even if he and Cheslea were to part ways he'd still go to any number of European teams who would pay him a ton more then any MLS team would wanna pay. If anything he may make his way to MLS in 3-5 years time and by that time much like if rivaldo makes the jump to MLS it wouldn't mean a great deal.

MLS has there house in order when it comes to watching the bottom line. Plus unlike the NASL back in the day who were bankrolled by owners who didnt have deep pockets. MLS has some major money behind it in most of there cities.
