guy is OPS-ing near 1.500 in june, been an unreal streak and looks like it has rubbed off to fellow outfielders and Marte and Polanco this week.

only guy with more hits in June than Cutch is a guy by the name of Brock Holt....

do you remember that name Key?

me too another one buccos gave up on like joey bats haha and Cutch is on fire and honestly last few games he looks like he is having a lot of FUN playing the game. i believe you wrote a few months back Key i forget who we lost to but i think buccos had bases loaded no outs and couldn't score to tie it you said cutch was disgusted, Which he was however i see a totally different guy now and i think that can only mean good things for the team

yeah former Buc farmhand that had a cup of coffee..... guy was always an overachiever and hit everywhere in the minors

i'm not sure the Pirates "gave up" on him, but they did use him to acquire Melancon and Pimental in that Hanrahan trade a few years back.

The Pirates and Nationals have ramped up discussions about a trade that would send Andrew McCutchen to Washington, according to sources who have spoken with both teams. The Nationals, according to one exec, would like to make this deal today, because the ripple effect of trading for McCutchen would likely be a move to nontender shortstop Danny Espinosa before tomorrow's tender date. The Nationals have been looking for a center fielder. So if they can trade for McCutchen, he would play center, which would bounce Trea Turner to short and leave no spot for Espinosa. The Pirates are looking for controllable starting pitching. So names like Joe Ross and Reynaldo Lopez would fit that shopping list.

He'd look better in Dodger Blue. Plus they can get more for him like Joc Pederson who hit more HRs and is just 24 plus Ross Spripling who nearly tossed a no hitter.

if ROBLES and ROSS are not in the trade the Pirates won't deal,...even though he has to go you would hope to get something you want,..Espinoza is not worth to be mentioned in the trade even,we have enough of those players
