Bishop is only the 3rd goalie in history to shutout a team (Detroit and NYR) in two separate game 7's in the same playoffs. (Patrick Roy and Tim Thomas)
he played well. Made some key saves when it was scoreless. Tampa outplayed the Rangers for most of the game except for a few minutes here and there. NY had 2 early power plays (the first one wasn't a penalty at all) and couldn't put the puck in the net. If they did capitalize on one or both of those power plays, who knows what would have happened. Tough loss for NY. Well deserved win for the Bolts. And i believe i heard he's the first NHL goalie ever to shut out a home team in game 7.

It's hilarious that you keep using scores from 4+ years ago in your justification of why Tampa is a "better team". We played twice this year and home team won each.
Relax. Act like you been there before. Oh wait...
hahah
Its hilarious because local media was reporting we were 6-0-1 against hawks since 2011 which BTW is a stupid stat anyways, 2011 has nothing to do with now.
But 6-0-1 itself is misleading considering how 5 of 7 went to OT
I agree it's ridiculous and pointless, but just having some fun
Tampa in 5
Hahaha. Delusional. Name a position where you're better (I said better, not deeper).

name recongition doesn't mean anything
We have a super star line with Stamkos
and we have a completely separate dominate line with tj koch and palat, scored 50% of our goals in the playoffs...
this line was top 5 line in NHL history with +/-
delusion is thinking theres that much that separates the two
Tampa in 6, "DO NOT" underestimate this team. They arguably beat the best two goalies in the NHL the last two series. If not for those goalies, Tampa could have easily scored a minimum of 5/6 goals per game as Lundqvist and Price made some ridiculous goal scoring saves to keep scores closer then what they could have been. Game 7 vs NY, Tampa could have easily had 4/5 within the first two periods if not for Lundqvist.....Bishop crowned The King!
