Ancer 2 stroke penalty for grazing sand

I've watched the video over and over, can someone explain to me WTF he got penalized for?

here's a real obvious one;

Reed didnt call a penalty on himself, lol...its impossible to not have known what he did ....good old Reed

he was heckled hard at The President's Cup that year in Aussie land, here's a gem at the 1st tee;

‘’Patrick you really gonna make your caddie carry 14 clubs and a shovel?”

it’s not pretty obvious- I had to watch three times before seeing a speck of the sand moved - definitely impossible to see without a slow motion recording

You can see the sand flatten plain as day. Bad mistake, not intentional, but nevertheless a penalty. I never even put my club behind the ball becaue of just this reason in the sand...

He seems pretty strong minded and has shaken it off. He's still -3 and in contention to win when some of the bigger dogs are sitting home, including the defending Champ, DJ...

I like this guy with the way he handled this, I hope to see him bounce back today from a tough break...
