Warner was for real as a person.

Didn't just write a few checks to appear as a "good guy", he stood on street intersections collecting winter coats for the homeless in the cold, tended Christmas tree lots for the poor & personally took trees to people's cars, passed the collection plate around the church, all of that.

SOME of these stars are phony but not Warner.

He was Tim Tebow before there was Tim Tebow. That rams squad had many players with deep faith.his wife is what people in st Louis didn't care for. She would go on st Louis radio and talk garbage about the Rams organization

Easy to be a believer when you get your chance with Faulk, Holt, Bruce, Pace

Tough sledding, though, when Belicheat stole the Rams signals in the Super Bowl.

Holt & Bruce reported that when they lined up, the Pats safeties were communicating the EXACT Ram plays to the other Pats on D. It was even in the local SL paper, but scrubbed, the Rams players were told to STFU for the good of the game.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever in all my years watching sports seen a team make more excuses for a loss than the 2001 Rams. At first it was the refs letting the Pats DB's hold too much, then it was the Rams didn't run the ball enough and beat themselves, then when the spygate came out they ran with the signals thing.

It is truly amazing they were able to tie the game with under a minute left given all the perceived obstacles they faced that day. They should get a ring probably. NE got 5 more after that, so got 1 to spare I suppose.

He killed it in Zona too! (Fitzgerald had four of his best five years under Warner yds + tds) One of the best ever career playoff Qb rating, behind only Starr I believe. Starr's rating jumped nearly 25 points in his playoff career! Starr's numbers are comparable to Don Hutson or Babe Ruth. In an era where you "couldn't" pass, his career playoff rating is just mind blowing!!!
