Hmm .. it's this a battle beetween this two ??

Europeans bet on American Sports, like NHL NBA NFL and others .. but here on a sport who was invented in Europe, soccer,no interes ..

Soccer could make big profit,if you know some rules , and have some conections.

I will try to help developing soccer in this forum ...

.....yeah, no-one really likes soccer here in America, I think it's because a lot are stupid and don't understand the game....they think because a lot of scores are low (1-0, 1-1, 2-1) etc. that theirs no action, as for the forum, well theirs only like 4-5 people who post, and usually when an individual posts, theirs no response asto agreeing or disagreeing, it's almost pointless to post unless you just want to show off your picks.

Peace

Not always true, Nylon. There seems to be alot of good discussion when Champions League is in play.

It would be nice, however, if there were MORE threads like the one above.

there might not be a lot of discussion, but those of us who are posting here know what they are doing.

There are too many leagues and countries around the world playing soccer (or football as we call it), so you can not follow everything and have an opinion of everthing. this forum gives you the chance to follow others in leagues where you dont have time to cap or the required knowledge. Or at least as i do it..let you fellow cappers select the best games in "their" leagues and then you just have to doublecheck a few games, if you want to follow or not.

Champ leagues obviously has more discussions..it s like nba or nfl..you just have to follow 32 teams and everybody got access to information.

Something like

It look strange to open a thread for only 3 post .. like the one here

Hi to all,

don't forget something: In soccer you have 3 different possible results. Alone that fact makes it for an american bettor highly unattractive as in america you nearly always just have 2 possible outcomes. So, your odds of winning with just 2 possible results are much higher than with 3.And when you consider the fact that a draw in soccer happens very often, i would also not made soccer my first choice. Just for example take Hockey: When i bet in Germany DEL on one Team and my team wins in overtime i still loose as the bet is counted as a draw. In american NHL my bet would have won, as the win in ot is counted as a win. So, why bet on DEL? So, you see, it is not that people are always desinterested or stupid.

cheers,

For soccer Asian Handicapping, there's also only two outcomes. see Imeq's thread for instance.

Wouldnt'be possible to have a contest in soccer? Maybe more people will join this forum and even who is only reading will post to.

This is my idea, don't know if it's possible or not...
