Upon my graduation from college (when taxes became a big issue for me), I seriously began to doubt the necessity of America's military spending. Our government doesn't even think twice about giving the military hundreds of billions of dollars, but then America doesn't have enough money for education, roads, healthcare, etc?
But after reading this article, I now realize that America ABSOLUTELY needs a strong military. Why? Because many Americans are cowardly pussies. We've got people who are scared of cicadas. Imagine if these people actually had to defend themselves against some sort of attack!
I'll admit, I hate cicadas. But do you really need a support group? What a joke. "Hi, my name is Mary...and I'm scared of cicadas!"
I am not making this up!
Support groups help people terrified of cicadas

CINCINNATI -- Many people are annoyed by the cicadas swarming in southwest Ohio. Some are even disgusted by them. But a few are genuinely terrified of the insects.
The Mental Health Association of the Cincinnati Area says it started getting phone calls months ago from people looking for support groups because they were afraid of the bugs.
Cicadas emerge from the ground every 17 years. This year's invasion began several days ago and is expected to last a few weeks.
Sheila Johnson says people think she's crazy for going to work an hour and a half early to avoid the swarming creatures.
Psychologist Karl Jackson recently ran a workshop for 50 people in Cincinnati who are afraid of the cicadas. He says it's a legitimate problem and that the fact others think the fear is silly just makes the situation worse.
