Given the fact that you already stated that you're not blowing whole paychecks and running bank accounts into the ground, and that you work and she doesn't....
Where is the problem with her driving you to play?
I know guys that have possessive wives and girlfriends....they had to give up the night out with the guys or leagues they were playing in...I know one that is constantly being tracked down if he's gone for more than 20 minutes.....
I can understand some possessiveness if the guy is gone like every night of the week and letting his relationship with his other half dwindle, or lying and cheating....moderation is the key....at the same time I think the women need to develop lives of thier own and interests outside the relationship that involve some of thier female friends....a girls night out so to speak.....
I'm single and I get together once a week with my friends to play some pool....we talk and bullshit and have a good time....considering that that is basically my only scheduled night out, if I ever met that great woman and she wanted me to drop that weekly activity.....in all likelihood if she forced me to choose between that weekly night out or losing her, I'd probably dump her for being so possessive about me being gone one night a week.
In a relationship there has to be balance and I would question anyone who wants to control or destroy that balance.
