I hate to be playing so many gmae tonight, but the numbers are almost to good to be true. Let me know what you think about tonights selections.
5 Units Wisc Green Bay -3.5 -108
This is the fourth road game over the last five games for Green Bay. However, don't expect a letdown by the Wisconsin Green Bay Phoenix, as they are 7-3 in the Horizon League, just behind Wright State and Milwaukee for first place. And they play a terrible Cleveland State team that is 0-10 in the Horizon League. The Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix (13-7 SU, 10-4 ATS) have good offensive balance with guards 6’-2” sophomore guard Terry Parker, Jr (10.5 ppg) and 6’-0” junior Brandon Morris (11 ppg, 48% FGs, 5 rpg), running the break, while 6’-8” senior Mike King (10 ppg, 4 rpg) works the boards. They are not a great road team (4-6 SU) although they are 6-2 ATS and should score a bundle against a Cleveland State team that is short and allows 74 points and 44% shooting by opponents per game. Cleveland State (4-17 SU, 4-11 ATS) has 6’-2” senior guard Jermaine Robinson (20 ppg, 5 rpg) and 6’-7” junior Omari Westley (15 ppg, 8 rpg), but they don't have the frontcourt or depth to hang with Green Bay. Green Bay beat Cleveland State 70-69 at home last month, but they should win by a more comfortable margin here.
7 Units Arkansas LR -4.5 -104
Road warriors??? Hardly. South Alabama (9-10) is just 2-8 SU on the road where they allow 75 ppg. This is also a brutal spot, as it will be South Alabama's third straight road game. They traveled all the way to Denver (a 78-59 loss) on Thursday, then to Texas on Saturday (85-78 defeat at North Texas), then head to Ark-Little Rock here. That's a lot of travel and bad defense. South Alabama lacks height and they have 6'-6" senior Malerick Bedden (13 ppg, 5.5 rpg) and 6'-6" Richard Law up front, while Arkansas Little Rock (11-9) has a solid frontcourt behind 6’-9” senior Jamal Holden (11 ppg, 4 rpg) and 6’-6” junior Rich Hardman (10 ppg, 7 rpg) along with plenty of backcourt depth. Little Rock is also terrific at home (8-2 SU) where they have been whipping teams by a 78-58 average!!! They also play tough 'D', allowing 41% shooting. Turn out the lights on South Alabama's season as they will struggle again here on the road.

WAC battle with two teams riding 4-game streaks. Nevada has won four in a row (4-0 ATS run), while SMU has lost four in a row (1-3 ATS run). Nevada (13-6 SU, 10-6 ATS) is rolling, winning 11 of the last 14 games. Nevada plays great defense (42% shooting allowed) and they shoot 48% from the field, led by junior 6’-6” Kirk Snyder (18 ppg, 45% FGs), 6’-10” freshman Nick Fazekas (7 rpg) and 6’-9” junior Kevin Pinkney. Nevada is just 3-6 SU/4-4 ATS on the road, however, where they outscore foes by a 74-72 average. SMU (8-11) is slumping, despite a frontcourt in 6’-9” junior Patrick Simpson (10 ppg, 6 rpg) and 6’-8” junior Eric Castro (10 ppg, 6 rpg), while sophomore guard Bryan Hopkins (15 ppg) is a good backcourt weapon. But SMU's offense has slipped of late, scoring 40, 61, 62 and 59 points during this 4-game skid!!! On Jan. 10 Nevada beat SMU 84-74 and they should win again.

Great game in the Horizon League as both have 15 wins apiece. Wisconsin-Milwaukee (15-5) is 8-4 SU/6-4 ATS on the road where they average 77 ppg! The Wisconsin Milwaukee Panthers shoot 50% from the field and love to run, led by 6’-3” junior guard Ed McCants (17.5 ppg, 50% FGs), 6’-8” senior forward Dylan Page (20 ppg, 52% FGs, 7 rpg) and 6’-7” sophomore Adrian Tigert (5.6 rpg). Wisc-Milwaukee is 10-0 in conference, a remarkable 10-0 SU/8-2 ATS in games against the Horizon League! The Illinois Chicago Flames (15-7) are 10-3 at home with a great offense anchored by guards 6’-3” senior Cedric Banks (18 ppg) and Martell Bailey (8.5 assists pg), while 6’-4” senior Aaron Carr and 6’-5” senior Armond Williams (12 ppg, 5.5 rpg) are strong role players. Milwaukee carries a 9-game win streak into this game and while there will be plenty of scoring, if it comes down to simple free throw shooting, Milwaukee shoots 73% from the charity stripe while Ill-Chicago shoots just 61%.
