Horizon League battle which should feature a lot of points. Illinois Chicago (13-7) is a sensational offensive team (46% shooting, 70 ppg). The Illinois Chicago Flames (9-8 ATS) are decent on the road (3-4 SU/2-3 ATS) and have a great offense anchored by guards 6’-3” senior Cedric Banks (18 ppg) and Martell Bailey (8.5 assists pg). The guards run the offense while 6’-4” senior Aaron Carr and 6’-5” senior Armond Williams (12 ppg, 5.5 rpg) are strong role players. Banks was the hero the last game with 36 points in a 74-57 Ill-Chicago win over Green Bay! Loyola (6-11) just played that same Green Bay team, too, and lost 60-55 at home shooting 31%! The Loyola-Chicago Ramblers are 3-5 SU/2-5 ATS at home where they play little defense, giving up 78 ppg! That will hurt here against explosive Ill-Chicago. Loyola does have a decent frontcourt with 6’-6”, 240-lb senior Paul McMillen (17.5 ppg, 7 rpg), center Demetrius Williams (11 ppg, 51% FGs) and 6’-7” Blake Schilb (10 ppg). But they're weak on 'D' and the visitors should get the win, as Loyola is 0-6 SU/ATS the last six games!

Great battle in the Mountain West between two teams that can shoot: BYU shoots 50% as a team, while New Mexico shoots 47%. The BYU Cougars (12-5 SU, 9-5 ATS) have all kinds of height up front in 6’-7” senior Mark Bigelow (12.7 points pg) and 6’-11” senior center Rafael Araujo (20 ppg, 10 rpg), while 6’-3” junior Mike Hall (12 ppg) runs the backcourt. But they are 0-3 SU/ATS in their last three road games, including a loss Saturday at Air Force where they fell behind 42-19 at the half! This is the third straight home game for the New Mexico Lobos (10-6 SU, 8-5 ATS) and they are 10-3 SU/6-4 ATS at home where they hold opponents to 60 ppg. New Mexico has a monster-frontcourt of 6’-8” junior Danny Granger (20.7 ppg, 51% FGs, 10.7 rpg) and 6’-9”, 240-lb sophomore David Chiotti (13 ppg, 6 rpg), along with a three-point threat in the backcourt with 5’-11” senior Javin Tindall (13.5 ppg, 38% 3-pt FGs). Granger was the hero Saturday, with 28 points as the team shot 53% in a rout of Utah. The winning team scored 80, 91 and 71 points when these teams met last season and expect another shootout.
