Nothing wrong with eating vegan - probably is healthy - certainly would remove a lot of saturated fats and would keep cals more in line with what is needed - of course there is nothing wrong with eating meat - and it certainly is the best source of protein - but what I find priceless is that i told u who my father is in the world of endocrinology and u post this guy - jayzus u are a fool's fool
He had type 1 diabetes - he was born with an autoimmune disease - beta cells in ur pancreas produce insulin which regulates ur glucose levels (sugar levels) - the disease attacks his beta cells fucking up his insulin production - so yes, he has lived this way his entire life - he has taken insulin injections to control his glucose levels - if he eats a healthy diet and exercise it is his best chances of staving off the associated complications - but this notion that a vegan diet has "cured" him of diabetes is comical - though it probably is helping - he would have to post A1C levels before and months after - again, I'm not saying his vegan diet is bad at all - just saying that eating meat does not cause diabetes
