Alabama's last two games (Florida and Michigan St.) the defense allowed a net total of
44 yards on 47 carries. No. 1 run defense in the country.

Boston College is No. 2 in run defense and they held Clemson to 112 yards and 1 TD.

*Mississippi State's Dak Prescott is a pretty good running QB. He ran 26 times for 14
yards against Bama. Other running quarterbacks faced by the Tide. Florida's Treon
Harris 11 carries for -4 yards. LSU's Brandon Harris, 5 for 20 yards.

To Everyones's Surprise, Clemson Is Not Going To RUN, RUN, RUN.......

Expect, Gallman To Have 14-15 Carries
DeShaun Will Pick His Spots & Have 17-18 Carries/Scrambles
THEY Know BETTER Against BAMA!!

Look For ALOT Of End Arounds, Bubble Screens, And Deep Balls!
Watson Will Throw 40-45 Passes In This Game.
And They Will Play HURRY UP ALL GAME & Run, Not RUSH 80+ PLAYS!

CLEMSON IS NOT FLORIDA or MICHIGAN STATE!
THE TIGERS Are A
Smarter, Deeper, and A Much More Dynamic Team, With A Way More Mobile QB!
And Also Has A Way Better RB Than Florida or Michigan State! But Running The Ball vs BAMA Will Not Be The Game Plan...The Coaching Staff Knows Better!

If Clemson can't run the ball....the QB is dead.

They have to have some sort of running game for the QB to have a chance to make plays.

Have to agree with you on this one GS. The issue with the Bama Defensive line is that any substitution they put in can greatly challenge Clemson's Oline. Not sure they can hold long enough. I do see the Clemson Def stopping Henry, but could see limited plays by Watson too, since he maybe scrambling quite a bit. Low scoring game IMO, and also a close one.

Is Saban the best college coach ever? Probably, but there are always other coaches in the conversation.
He and Urban are the best right now. They both are excellent recruiters and know what to do with the talent.

Will Bama defense struggle? Moreso than with the other teams they faced. Face it. Clemson is a very very good team and well rounded. Bama hasnt faced this kind of team all year. Perhaps Ole Miss (which they lost to at home) is a decent comparison.

Clemson has a potent offense with many weapons and a QB that can run/pass. We've seen in the past what can happen with those guys against Bama. 12 days to prepare? OK. Sure. Bama had much longer to prepare for OhioSt's backup dual threat QB last year and that didnt turn out so good for Bama.....

Clemson defense is pretty good though...notice the 0 points they gave up to OU in the 2nd half. They seem to lose focus against lesser teams...games they expect to win. Certainly not the case here.

An interesting matchup no doubt. Bama's defense is terrific. Their offense is very capable. Clemson's offense is excellent. Their defense is capable.

Clemson will cover the 7. Can they win??? Not sure. I'll sprinkle a bit on the Clem ML but too chicken to go big balls on it. :)
