The Giants have still not updated Bradshaw's status or revealed any kind of diagnosis. But the Daily News takes his Tuesday absence as a sign that he will not play in Thursday's game against the Panthers. If that's the case, Andre Brown projects as the starter and David Wilson will get a chance to emerge from the doghouse. The Giants will release an official injury report later Tuesday.

We still don't have an exact diagnosis or timetable on Bradshaw, leaving him day to day. In the meantime, Andre Brown is expected to start and handle a full workload on Thursday night. He's a three-down back that will get what's blocked and serve as the goal-line option. Rookie David Wilson will try to work his way out of the doghouse by putting in a good performance as the change-of-pace option. Consider Brown a solid flex start this week and Wilson the superior long-term option.

It would be a surprise if he isn't back in practice by Wednesday. Bradshaw figures to return as the starter, but Andre Brown has certainly earned a major role. "In our history here, it's been, not one — you're always in need of at least two (running backs)," Coughlin said. "And one year that we had a lot of success, we had three."

Bradshaw missed the last 1 1/2 games with the neck injury. It sounds like he stands a strong chance to play in Sunday night's division game against the 2-1 Eagles, although Bradshaw's workload remains to be seen. Andre Brown is averaging over 5.5 yards per rushing attempt, displaying power and balance through contact that Bradshaw no longer brings to the table. The Giants may work Bradshaw back in as a change-up back. He's not going to be a Week 4 fantasy option.

Bradshaw hasn't been told by coaches that his role will be different following Andre Brown's impressive performance in his absence last week. It's perhaps because the coaching staff had yet to finalize this week's game plan when they last spoke with Bradshaw. We do expect Brown to eat into Bradshaw's fantasy value. Against an Eagles defense that has allowed just one rushing score in their last seven games, neither back is an attractive fantasy play.

At this point, we would rather roster Brown than Bradshaw. We envision a fairly even timeshare in Week 4.

According to Profootballtalk.com, Ahmad Bradshaw (foot, questionable) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Bradshaw missed practice on Wednesday, returned Thursday, and then missed practice again on Friday. It's not a great sign that he can't string together practices, and it was pretty predictable that Bradshaw would suffer some sort of setback after his major workloads the past two weeks. Fellow running back Andre Brown worked in with the starters in practice, so he and rookie David Wilson would carry the load against Washington if Bradshaw is forced to miss. The teams kick off at 1:00PM ET, so keep checking back throughout the morning for updates.

Per NFL Network's Kimberly Jones, Ahmad Bradshaw "will play" on Sunday against the Redskins.

Jones notes that Bradshaw has played with a fractured foot in the past, so a sore one isn't going to keep him off the field. Bradshaw has rushed the ball 57 times in the past two games, and he ended up missing practice on Wednesday and Friday this past week. Despite being the worst team in the league against the pass, Washington sports the No. 8 run defense. Washington and New York kick off at 1:00PM ET, so we'll know Bradshaw's official status in about an hour.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Bradshaw practiced just once all week, but he'll draw the start in this NFC East showdown. The concern for owners is that the Giants will scale back his workload as they try to prevent further setbacks with his troublesome foot. Coach Tom Coughlin has already hinted that Andre Brown and David Wilson will be mixed in. The Giants will also have LB Michael Boley (hip), who came in with a questionable tag. Their inactives: S Kenny Phillips (knee), LB Jacquian Williams (knee), DT Rocky Bernard (quad), WR Jerrel Jernigan, DE Adewale Ojomo, T James Brewer and TE Adrien Robinson.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Ahmad Bradshaw (foot, questionable) is expected to play on Sunday against the Cowboys.

Bradshaw missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he returned for a limited session on Friday. He is currently dealing with a deep bone bruise in his foot, but as Schefter notes, Bradshaw has a history of playing through foot injuries. Head coach Tom Coughlin added that he was "confident" in his running back's status. With ILB Sean Lee out for Dallas, Bradshaw is shaping up as a RB2/flex play. The G-Men don't kick off until 4:25PM ET.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) returned to a limited practice on Thursday.

Bradshaw is in better shape this week than last. Playing through the injury, however, his per-carry average has dropped from 5.54 in Weeks 5-6 to 3.56 over the past two games. Rotoworld ranks Bradshaw 14th among fantasy backs for Week 9 versus the Steelers.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) sat out Wednesday's practice.

As per usual. Bradshaw has gotten in extremely few practice reps over the past month, but has yet to come close to missing a game. He'll be the Giants' feature back against the Bengals. Bradshaw will have New York's Week 11 bye to get some much needed rest.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) returned to a limited practice Thursday.

Bradshaw is fully expected to play versus the Bengals on Sunday. He's averaging just 3.5 YPC in three games since injuring his foot and has been losing goal-line opportunities to Andre Brown. Rotoworld ranks Bradshaw 18th among running backs for Week 10.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) is listed as questionable after sitting out Friday's practice.

It's the same routine Bradshaw has been under since injuring his foot nearly a month ago. Bradshaw is fully expected to start at Cincinnati, though he's lost effectiveness and goal-line carries over the past three games.

Ahmad Bradshaw (foot, questionable) will play on Sunday against the Bengals.

Bradshaw has been going through this questionable routine for the past month now, but he has never been in real danger of missing game action. However, the running back has not been the same over the past three weeks where he's averaged just 3.5 YPC. Andre Brown is also starting to siphon some goal-line work. Bradshaw is Rotoworld's No. 18 running back for Week 10.

Ahmad Bradshaw will undergo a "battery of tests" over the next two days.

Bradshaw's neck X-rays reportedly came back negative, but he's not done yet. He'll likely undergo an MRI on the area and we can be sure doctors will also take a look at his troublesome foot. "He'll probably have every test known to man here in the next couple of days," coach Tom Coughlin said. Bradshaw should be fine when the Giants come out of their bye, but his workload will still be monitored.

Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) did not practice Thursday.

Bradshaw's knee sprain has him extremely questionable for Sunday's game in Atlanta. Paul Schwartz of the New York Post is betting that he doesn't even make the trip. Although freakish Robert Griffin III appears set to play through his Grade 1 sprain, it's normally a 1-2 week injury -- especially for running backs. Explosive rookie David Wilson is shaping up as a borderline RB1 candidate for the semifinal round of the fantasy playoffs.

Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) has been ruled out for Week 15 at Atlanta.

It's hardly surprising news, as the signs had been increasingly pointing toward rookie David Wilson making his first start with Kregg Lumpkin chipping in on passing downs. As we've opined several times throughout the week, the explosive Wilson is a legit RB1 option against a Falcons defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing backs.

The Giants announced that David Wilson is starting at Atlanta in Week 15 with Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) inactive.

The coaching staff still doesn't trust Wilson to know his assignments in blitz pickup, so Kregg Lumpkin will play on passing downs. The explosive Wilson, capable of grinding between the tackles and breaking off long runs to the edge, remains a good bet for 15+ touches as the primary early-down back. It's an excellent matchup against a Falcons defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing backs. We consider Wilson a viable RB1 option this week.
