I’m actually in Streamsong playing golf with my high school friends - one is a former prosecutor for the E District of NY - he said that Jack Smith has contacted him about representing him after the election - doubt Trump would prosecute Smith but it is on Smiths mind - a lot of people have a lot riding on this election
That's funny, I was playing golf at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport in early Sept. One in our foursome was a former cabinet minster under Rishi Sunak. He said the UK gov't was certain Trump was never going to win the WH even if Biden hadn't dropped out.
Speaking of Arnold, there is a plaque on the right side of the 16 fairway at Royal Birkdale that commemorates the famous shot Palmer hit in 1961 to win his 1st Open Title.
During the final round Palmers ball was in a sandy ditch at the bottom of some blackberry bushes. He hit a six-iron 190 yards to within 2 feet of the hole. That birdie won him the tournament by 1 stroke.
Palmer was beloved around the world, a true American Hero.
