After beating opponent 161-2, high school hoops coach suspended

It's life and you would ask your daughter what did she learn? Nobody learns anything from a game like that. It isn't life....it's basketball game where sportsmanship is expected. The coach was rightfully suspended.

Suspension is harsh... Is a little bit immoral to beat a team that much BUT I disagree with penalties.

Ok... class and sportmanship agreed but why sanction the winning team and their coach?

One's opinion is one's opinion where in the rules of HS BK it says you can't beat a team for more than 140 points?

This is a problem in our current era and age, not enough liberties... government and chairboards meddling in everything

Ha! Yeah, they just keep sticking their chin out. It isn't even fair.

Class, dignity and sportsmanship comes along with winning.....when you can't win in that manner...it really isn't winning. 161-2, is disgraceful and not one lesson can be learned by the players on either team. We can debate whether the coach should be suspended I guess...but I think he should have...maybe it will give him time to reflect on what athletics is about.
