AFL Grand Rapid's QB-Bishop's Hammy???

Has anybody read anything on the condition of GR's QB-Bishop's hammy? He hurt it early in last week's game and ended up with only 5 yds on 3 carries. I know he can throw some, but his best asset is his ability to scramble out of trouble and then find an open receiver or run.

I know he's not listed on Wed's injury report and the local GR newspaper says nothing about it, but hammies tend to take a long time to heal and he could re-injure it on the opening play.

I did read that GR fired 2 coaches early in the week and have not yet replaced them, so head coach and one assistant will be their only two coaches tonite.

After what happened with Fitzgerald and AUS last night, QB's with injuries that no one is talking about and don't show up on injury reports worry me.

Fitzy got hurt in the warmups last night.

Everything I've read says Bishop's locked and loaded once again. Wouldn't surprise me otherwise, but even so, look for the addition of Mason to be able to hold down Philly. Olddog... how'd you know about the injury in the first place, and how do you know it was a hammy? Because as long as he was playing then, I'd assume he'd be playing now. Also, Fitzy's a *****, Bishop's a tough son of a b*tch... in case in makes anyone feel better:lolBIG:

Regardless, my bets are locked and I have no intent on hedging them. Too many points for the Soul to be laying against anyone, even with a backup QB.

How'd I Know?

Write-ups recapping the game said Bishop hurt his hammy early in the game and only rushed for 5 yds on three carries. Either at arenafootball.com or areanfan or both. You do read post-game reviews right?
