I have one strong play for the week: Tennessee (-3). The trend is your friend. Tennnessee at night, playing well in a meaningless preaseason vs. some tired vets. I'll lay the three and cash on Monday.

You can't really be a homer and vote with who your favorite team is -- can you? Don't you have to, if you are gambling, pick who is likely to win? You gotta have the skills to pay the bills.

I didn't take them as I've got money tied up in 4 wagers already. They looked strong in the preseason, what that means remains to be seen, but, the offense looks like it will definitely be putting some points on the board. Buffalo can be a scary team as well so I don't expect them to go down easily, it should be a good game. If New England plays mistake-free ball they should win, IMO, from what I've seen so far.

yeah I don't know. The Pats looked focused and disciplined in preseason so I wouldn't imagine it will have an enormous impact.

I watched LM play ball @ UofDub & he is a hard hitter. I like the intensity that NE is bringing into game #1. Buffalo shored up their d-line but they still had a miserable defense last year. Drew & NE will both play hard due to the past relationship -- but Brady can play head-to-head with Drew. I know pre-season means nothing -- but NE showed me they appear to be ready for the season. You gotta have the skills to pay the bills.

If you don't mind me asking, who are your 4-plays? When I checked this morning the line on Tennessee was moving towards (-3.5). I think it will be (-4) by game time.

I've got a thread up with my plays in it. I kinda like the over in this Pats/Buffalo game as well, didn't they have two high-scoring games last year?

the totals from their last two games were 44 and 45, and the over/under is 46... maybe the under is the play, actually.
