This thread had so much potential judging by the title however it turned into a great disappointment.
This is a difficult question for which there is no universal answer. We can say generally 16, 18 etc. but how about people who are not intellectually capable of reasoning like an adult. They may be 25 but have an IQ near the range of the majority of posters at the EOG and not capable of adult reasoning.
The answer therefore not only lies with an arbitrary age cutoff but some sort of criteria applied to accurately assess one's cognitive abilities.
I hope you all have put a little more thought into this than just throwing up a random age.

I have a 23 year old son and a 15 year old son (who thinks he's 30) so I feel your pain. Its very easy to say "my house my rules" BUT you know what happens next. We have all done it, (or atleast thought about it) taking off trying to prove that we can live on our own etc.... There is a fine line that needs to NOT be crossed when dealing with "teenagers" who's hormones are blazing, there friends are the best thing in their lives, and lets face it, we as parents are at a disadvantage in trying to "reason" with them. My 23 year old now respects me way more than he did when he was living at home. His exact words recently to my wife were "now I see why dad was like that"....My 15 year old is a "handful" he is giving us way more "problems" than the older brother, even though they were both raised the same.
My point being, I think there is no clear cut rule that you can go by, each young man or woman has to be dealt individually while at the same time remembering that we were once there, and even though times have changed, in some respects they are exactly the same....

First Harry started in with me in this thread (see above) and recently so I decided to do some backflips in his industrial engineer dome. I am about as impressed with that as I am Boxslayer chewing gum and rubbing his stomach at the same time.
Second Mr. N like I said before I am documented here in my sports wagers and am selective but I can refer you to several threads including Tulsa's best bet in baseball and college football and my GOY threads from baseball this year and NFL last year. So because I do not have 50 plays a day that I copy off ESPN with a rare winning day, and make 50 threads about changing my handle, and another 100 about depositing 100 dollars and getting a free casio wristwatch, does not mean I am not contributing.
I am done responding to you. The only time I will do it again is if you try and SCAM the RX people AGAIN (which I am sure is coming).
