Stats to chew on at halftime

Toledo's starting field position has been crap. TOP and # of plays are pretty even except for the return yards - special teams have been huge for UConn. So the question is are UCONN drives getting longer b/c Tol D is getting worn down or demoralized by a 20 point deficit? That last field goal had to be a killer to Toledo's morale - at least they kept them from another TD.

Those guys have GOY every day. To hear GOY means nothing anymore and you are right. . . If these guys are professional cappers how in the world could they not know about his hand. It just goes to show you that you should never trust a pro capper, trust yourself and trust people that you respect. Toledo looked so easy tonight and the books are loving the score of this game right now. . But who knows because wierder things have happened. . However this would win the Bad beat of the year award. We are up 27 points right now so 4 unanswered touchdowns would beat us yet and Toledo is very capable of that. I did see the back-up in the game vs miami and he is nothing special. He turns a passing offense into a running one and you cant come back 23 points by running the ball.

UCONN wasted opportunities

Toledo starting field position ~ their own 25

Uconn's was their own 44 - they had a short field to work with the whole half and end up with 3 field goals and 2 TDs and a punt return.

It could be a lot worse. The 2nd half play has to be Toledo, you can't count on special teams to give you that big of an edge again can you UConn?
