I looked at this game for a very very long time. I ended up taking Pitt -2.5. Everywhere I look I see the ppl on the Bears saying this same thing. What would make you think Cutler will play well this week? Pitt has the BEST front 7 in the NFL and Cutler has always struggled against the 3-4 going back to his days in Denver. And in Denver he had a better O line and much better WR's.
I also keep seeing ppl say Pitt didn't impress in week 1. Didn't impress?? They beat the team with the best record last year at 13-3 with maybe one of the best D's in the league and a strong running game. Not to mention they overcame the week 1 super bowl hangover. Pitt's O will run hurry up this week and won't allow the Bears D to rotate. Pitt has much better WR's than the Bears and you can count on Ben to break a few tackles in the backfield and set up a huge play downfield. I don't think it'll be a blow out, but I think Pitt covers the 2.5 points.

I'm referring to the fact that everyone questioned Big Ben all pre-season about how they struggled the season after they won their last super bowl which I'm sure added to the pressure of going into week 1. Had nothing to do with what other teams have done. Every interview I heard on ESPN radio involving Big Ben would address "how do you make sure you don't have a let down this season like you did in 2006." That's the super bowl hangover I'm referring to.

Personally, I don't listen to ESPN radio or any sports radio for that matter so I didn't hear the interviews you mentioned.
There was no super bowl hangover in 2006. Roethlisberger was still f*cked up from his motorcycle accident. He went 0-3 SU in his first three starts, tossing 7 INT's and 0 TD's, arguably the worst three game stretch of his career.
Not on either side in this one but I will be keeping an eye on the Steelers defense, who did allow an uncharacteristic amount of yards against the Titans last week. Good luck to you.
