They said 5 games will still be on NFL Network but that will just be Thanksgiving and the Saturday games. The home cities will still show the games over network TV. I think this starts after the conclusion of the current NFL TV deal which ends after next season. So sportsbooks will have to sign up for Amazon Prime in order to show the TNF games. Even though I am a Prime member I don't believe the NFL should be able to restrict games to a streaming service. Not everyone has internet in the homes. Some people just use their phone. Not easy for a family to watch the game on their phones. Almost everyone has cable or satellite. Also the added expense of signing up with Amazon Prime plus your cable bill. Will be interesting to see the backlash from this when it starts in 2022.

probably won't be much of a backlash as most of these Thursday night games are unwatchable, typically the worst game of the week
