BAS, you said you almost had one with BOL before Alex left. Did the Rx have problems finding books to bail out Synbet's customers because the Rx insisted on getting a cut of the customer's losses?

pretty sweet deal for the rx, take a shitty book as a sponsor (get money from them), then when they fail and rip off countless members, charge that book the steps in to bail them out. double $$$$$$

Do you really expect a response?

Shit, I'm still waiting on a reply from Defying regarding a PM he sent me a week ago. At least free speech remains in the Rubber Room.

This is how it worked, as far as I can tell:

1) Took money from Synbet
2) Saw Synbet go bust
3) Refused any bailouts if bailouts didn't put old Synbet players on the Rx sheet at the new book.

That's why bailouts weren't forthcoming when BetEd and Synbet went bust. The Rx wants to eat cake and have it too.

ahh, My buddy Cobbler. Here at the RX to ask some questions. :103631605

As you probably know by now I was not in the Direct talks with 1Vice and the bail-out of Synbet players.
I would think that it's a industry standard in this case because 1Vice wanted to hang a banner here with the Bail-out.
If it was just a Bail-out and everyone would have went their own way, there wouldn't have been a Affiliate deal attached. The Main concern was to get the Players Paid.

As far as Betonline, there was No affiliate Deal attached to the possible Bail-out.
I was in talks with them for the 26+ Players and betonline wanted to know if there were more out there. Meaning other than Players from the RX.
They wanted to Bail-out All Synbet Players.
Around the end of the talks, Alex had left betonline. I had to wait until Betonline got all their Ducks in order, as there was others that left as well.
In the mean time, 1Vice came to the RX for a Bail-out. (a suggestion from a 3rd party )
Which is Good Marketing on their part.... New Start up looking to make some noise.

For the Record, Synbet beat The RX as well.

As far as BetEd, Betonline was Willing to Bail-out All Players there as well.
You could Blame Covers for that Screw up... as they wanted to be Paid and one of the owners wanted to be Paid for their Customer List. They didn't worry about the money that was owed to the customers.

Thanks BAS, always great to hear from you. We sadly don't have many conversations anymore. I've been told that Rx employees were strongly discouraged from posting at my home forum so I understand.

To clarify the record, I find it hard to believe the Rx was a net loser in its dealings with Synbet. I'm talking financially; we all know the Rx took a big hit to its reputation with this book.

Sadly, the entire Synbet episode might have been avoided had the Rx not banned and censured so-called troublemakers who saw through the smokescreen put up by the Synbet crew and its shills on the forums. Plenty of warning were out there, but only for those who relied on more than the Rx for their information.

I'm wondering if the same will hold true with EZ Street? There are credible stories that EZ has fired it's entire marketing staff, including it's marketing manager. That usually isn't a good thing heading into football post-up season.

Unfortunately, your posters on the main forum are unaware of this story. They only hear the PR noise from EZ Street claiming all is well, or noise from one mod here that only a few incompetent employees were let go, or noise from another mod saying he's going to post up soon. Since I was banned from the main forum even before I made my first post here, I can't offer a warning there.

But I can here. EZ Street is looking awfully shaky. Better be careful there. BAS, you might want to help the posters out here and do a little digging on your own regarding these various stories. Believing the spin from EZ is a dangerous game to play.
