9 times the Super Bowl has been played where the teams have had a two week rest between games

The favorite has only failed to cover twice!

The logic being the stronger team with two weeks to prepare has an even stronger advantage

We all know what Belichek is cabable of when given time to master plan

Strength of schedule clearly with New England as well....

This just might get ugly...

37-10 Pats

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

question...and trust me i'm not bashing...

How are the Pats gonna blow this one out when they haven't routed anyone all season long? Carolina is clearly 1 of the top 3 defenses they'll be matched up against all season

Well I dont mind...

Look a strength of schedule though....New England has played a much stronger schedule IMO

Carolina played a week Dallas team, an inept Rams coaching staff and a depleted Eagles team....New England beat many more difficult teams home and away....These are just my opinions...

the pats were favored by 7 or more twice all season and they covered both games winning by 14 and 31 over the bills and jags. of course those teams arent the panthers. But they have also beaten the eagles by 21, jets by 7, tenn by 8, giants by 11, dallas by 12, miami by 12 and indy by 10.

I know the panthers are a very good team, but its not like they are the 85 bears. And they lost to the eagles, titans and dallas (teams the pats handles rather easily). Not to mention a loss to houston.

So i dont think anyone should be shocked if the pats cover. Conversly, the pats arent the niners of the 80's. So no one should be surprised if the panthers win.

However, all things factored i think the pats have the advantage and should win by more than 7.
good luck
