The fan is pathetic regardless of what he said, but I don't understand the sudden outrage over bad fan behavior. Taco Tech fans have always been among the worst in the Big 12. This is actually pretty tame. They can get downright nasty at both their basketball games, and at their football games, where they have a tendency to throw things at you. Somebody must have pissed in Smart's post toasties that day, because I'm sure he's heard all of this bad language before. They usually get their fair share of it every week from the opposing fans sitting directly behind the bench.

Good point on Grantland podcast. He definitely did not call him a piece of crap. I cant even remember the last time i heard someone say "piece of crap" in any environment..much less in f2f argument. TT simply tried to clean it up. The fact that they lied about him cursing leaves open the possibilty that he used more than just a curse word.
