Im listening. The president is the leader. It happened on his watch and we were caught unprepared. That's what I'm saying.

I mean, you have conservative idiots that blame Clinton for the attacks.

Who the hell would be prepared or expect four fully loaded airplanes to attempt to purposefully crash into occupied buildings? Seriously? Like, you were prepared that day for this event to happen?

Quality argument. The repubs disgracefully used 9-11 and fear in 2004 for re-election
They did, after the democrats tried to exploit tragedy for their own gain. Turnabout is fair play, unless it's against the democrats

Neither did anyone else, but that's not important, what is important is squeezing every ounce of political gains out of a tragedy.
The CIA director Tenet set up a special emergency meeting with Condoleeza Rice at the White House and told her a major terror attack was imminent, and she completely ignored it. That's on George Bush

Not necessarily true but hell, it fits the narrative right? Tenet said one thing and Rice said it would be "incomprehensible" for her to ignore intelligence reports from such a high ranking intelligence official.

Believe what you will. The truth most likely lies somewhere in the middle but to assert something here as fact without proof is dangerous.

Sounds like it was on Rice. What did he tell her? A major terrorist attack is imminent is a pretty vague thing to say.

Haha, newspapers going under have nothing to do with their political views. It has to do with their readership moving to the internet. Happening all over the world.
That's true about newspapers, but his link was still just an opinion. What he didn't tell you is right now Obama has a bigger approval rating than Reagan did when he left office. And George Bush had a 22% approval rating when he left. But the press has been hard on Obama. Especially the conservative press. But they are just feeding the birds.. http://www.salon.com/2016/05/04/mor..._press_refuses_to_give_obama_his_due_partner/

The newspapers that support the left outnumber the right probably 10-1.

That report basically makes Bush look worse. If Rice took the warning seriously it means George Bush didn't. George Tenet has talked about this in many interviews. There was too much proof of an attack coming to be ignored.

Again, there are threats that come into our country daily. Which do you take seriously and which do you not? Rice's version is different than Tenet's version.

The problem is not one conservative newspaper or any other media outlet gave Obama a positive approval rating. That's at least 10% right there. Obama has a 66% approval rating among voters 18-29. Which is very high for any President. It's 51% for voters 30-50 or so. The older people who grew up with segregation don't like him as much. As we've seen here. It just shows you the kind of divide that we have in politics these days. It's by far the worst than we've had in history. But I'm sure it has nothing to do with him being black...

I'm trying to be as clear as I can. The terrorists are to blame for this. However, we had a failure that day as well. Bush failure was not taking threats seriously and FBI and CIA just didn't work together. They deserve part blame for those failures.

I know things are in place now.

So to my question, what do you think these GOP dopes would be saying if Obama was president?

Bush's bigger failure was after the attacks with bankrupting our future with his invasions of Afghanistan & Iraq. ..

Obama people like to bring up 9/11 because the attacks happened under Bush and the great King Muslim came in and saved the day by killing him. They hang their hat on that. They love to bring it up every chance they get.

Invading Iraq completely destabilized that entire region. I don't care of Saddam was a dictator who killed his people and tortured them andf I don't care that North Korea does the same. Who cares. They controlled their people and those lives should mean nothing to us.

Now we have even a worse"dictatorship" in Iraq being Isis. It's not going to be over until we are as ruthless as them. There are no diplomatic talks, kill them and if other Muslims die in the process, what's the big deal,

Deport Muslims but torture first, hang them publicly, air it on CBS

Can you enlighten me on how you think going into Afghanistan was a mistake? The place used to train AQ and the hiding spot of AQ's leader Osama Bin Laden? What were we supposed to do?

And by the way, war jump starts the US economy. It doesn't bankrupt it.

Not true. Pulling troops out of the country destabilized the region.

If you let Saddam kill and torture his own people, it would have been fine. If you invade, eventually you have to pull out. A bush followed by a foreigner is never a good idea.
Bush thought someone with a brain would eventually take over though...Not a Muslim sympathetic to Muslims

There's a proper way to leave Vlad. You don't just say "fuck you" and leave.
