So basically if I'm gonna bet the Rays, the time is now before I wake up tomorrow and the price is -150...right?

As expected, the Rays moved up 9% at one time, but a drop down followed a downgrade in worth due to the lineup card information.
They still warrant a large play in my opinion.

When I saw oddsmakers place a fairly priced price tag on Cain on the open, due to its rarity, I was not suprised to see the market bid down the price, as Cain constitently closes with value. At the current market price, the Giants now warrant a play.

Buffett,

I bought the Braves at -110 currently bidding at -103 at the moment. What do you see for the market swinging in the direction of San Diego? Do you feel their overpricing Matos true worth and expected performance? He's pitched well vs Cincinatti going 7 and only 5 and change vs Washington.

I am somewhat suprised to see the market bid down the Braves in the magnitude that they did. I know that the market has been bullish on the Padres of late, but thought that the oddsmakers compensated for this expected bullishness with the generous open. Latos is still somewhat an unkown in the market and hard to quantify. I think the market is going on what they have recently seen from him and not what to expect from him going foward. They apparently liked him as an underdog. I also think there may be some irrational bets betting on the Padres due to the Braves having to travel late (that was information known on the open) and the market not liking how they looked last night (not terribly predictive). If these two variables are reason for the bid down, I am expecting the efficiency of the market to correct it by close.

ATL-SS-Escobar-Doubtful, OF-Church-Doubtful - Church isn't worth the 19 cent drop. More likely a overreacting towards the traveling and how the current look of Matos.

Arizona @ NyMets:
Dan Haren steps to the mound as a 175 favorite on the road vs the Mets who were handled easily by Garland yesterday. The Mets throw Figueroa at the DBacks. Figgy has been a journey man who's had his ups and downs throughout his career. Figgy has been outstanding his last 10Triple A starts he's 7-1 with a 1.51 ERA. He's developed into a decent pitcher with the Bison and may be able to keep the Mets into this game.

I'm liking a small play on the Mets +159

The no-vig open on these two games are both within 1 cent of my no-vig line.
Bosox/Rays seems like a fair set line after looking more to it, plus they're only +102 on pinny. I was also looking at Philly no-vig is -133, currently -130 at pinny. Angels are overvalued. Do you know anything about O's pitcher Matusz? Washburn is out of a safe friendly pitchers park into a hitters one and yet to regress. Still looking into the card looks decent enough.

As for tonight. Looking like i might have to play Brewers small today the situation and line factors in all the negatives and positives of both pitchers.

Buffett, what's your thought about Cubs/Reds lineup out with Aramis Ramírez in and Scott Rolen out?
