JOE-WILFRIED TSONGA caused one of the biggest Wimbledon shocks of recent years when coming from two sets down to beat Roger Federer in their quarter final this afternoon.
The magnitude of his comeback was underlined by the fact that Tsonga drifted to 64-1 on Betfair when looking booked for a straight-sets defeat, while Federer was backed at the minimum price of 1-100 (punters willing to risk £100 to win just £1) on the exchange.
And in the outright winner’s market, Tsonga drifted to 399-1 on Betfair. He is now just a 9-1 chance.
