all this time I thought these moderator jobs made pretty good money for the work, but 500 a month? And General even claims he makes even less LMAO....And even funnier these guys walk aroung here like SPECIAL ENFORCERS policing the place as if its some top secret mission....Talk about delusional , anyone who would accept such a degrading wage outside of third world nations has to be living in poverty....

I also heard Shrink has a few sweat shops in Costa Rica ...

Come on mods I hear McDonalds pays atleast 6 bucks an hour these days...All this time I thought they were making 500 a week! I`d rather post for free than be paid this monkey money....Damn ,Shrink are you really this tight?

It is essentially a volunteer position with a small stipend attacted.

Journeyman, you are acting like a moron, because obiviously you've never visited another web forum in your whole life. Most are moderated for free by people who like to hang out there.

Shrink is being generous offering 500 bucks a month to delete links and move posts.

Trust me, if he put an ad in offshore offering 100 a month for the same job, people would snap it up. Hell, I spen like 8 hours a day here, I would move some posts if it got me a little cash in the pocket.

I think most (not all) of the mods here do a good job. And for that, they should be applauded. Nonetheless, moderating ANY forum in ANY capacity is a thankless job IMO.

Its impossible to please everyone, all of the time.
