Yelnam, No that was one of the excuses they used on me last year when I called regarding the March 17 [2003] payout. Not exactly sure the date last year but it was April-2003 the day after easter day but I know for sure it was a monday I called and they told me sorry but it's easter here on monday? Yeah right?

Well anyway man I gave up calling them last summer after like 200 phone calls in 4 months I knew then I wasn't ever going to get paid.

Please let us know the latest on your situation with these crooks of ESB. Peace.

Played with them back in the early nineties, bought in for a dime, rolled it to over 7,500 in a few weeks, then lost it, and never went back by chance..Amen

I feel your pain, as they've been cursed on net-forums for the last six years, this outfit should be long gone by now, and that they still are grabbing folks is nothing short of amazing.

I also know a sports talk radio host that might help. I think that if we as a group (esspecially the people who have been stiffed by them) step up to the plate, we can really get something accopmlished. Even if we do something small - like we all call the Irish Embassy on the same day, or we all call ESB on their payout day and let them know that if we don't get paid we are going to really put up a strong fight. I do not want to see this operation take anyone else's money. This is a big story. I'm sure that somebody somewhere that works in the media will feel the same way. If we can get the ball rolling on this, we might be able to make a difference.

If you follow good forums in the future, you will have less problems big time. Not zero problems, but less. Overall, reading these forums have helped me make many more good decisions than bad. Sorry to say, but i too was taken by them a while back. At that time, i had never heard of the rx, or bettorworld, or any other forums. I am now much better off. those scum at esb make a living off of fraud, and the problem is that nobody cares about us, so we need to use our heads.

I got paid in full by them in an amont of about $5,000 about 3 years ago. The method I used to get paid was that I told them that I was going to contact all of their advertisers on their webside (I notice that they don't have any now) and the Racing Forum where they were advertsing regularly at the time. They sent me bounced checks twice before they finally bank wired the money into my account. This was, however, after at leaset 50 phone calls to Mark Hovan, James, & Cecelia.

I think that an article in the racing form exposing these thieves would put them out of business, and since the Racing Form was also stiffed by them this seems like a very feasible option.

This scum-bag operation has been going on way too long and needs to be shut down immediately.

Another thought would be to bring a lawsuit against Jim Mcmahon for fraud in endorsing this group of thieves which I am sure that he was well aware of.

Hi guys I got have useful information for you if you wish to fill a formal complaint with the Irish government, also have pertinent information if you wish to beg or bug key people for your funds. Anyone who realistically thinks they will get a $ from these guys is dreaming, people have been sending me information left, right and centre the last few months because I starting to do some digging since a family member was taken for a certain amount from these unethical so-called business men. I m a police officer from Virginia who posted awhile back. The reason I am involved is I have a family member that was cheated of several thousands of dollars. He came to me with the problem and had no idea how to file a formal complaint. Believe me when I tell you that the Irish Government is very interested in any information that may be supplied. Please do not contact the irish embassy or consulate as they will refer you to the Office of Enterprise, Trade & Employment then to the Director of Corporate Enforcement.
Since late fall I opened a folder and began an investigation on my own time into their questionable business practices, little by little myself and others were able to gather useful information from not only existing and former clients, but also a former employee.
I cannot stress enough how important it is for you and others to share any information, however insignificant it may be to the Director of Corporate Enforcement within the Irish Government. Supposedly Mark Hovan didn't work for ESB anymore but copshop said he's still involved. I would say if i'm not paid i'm planning on pursuing it outside of ESB.
