...left out. Florida would love to have had his sorry ass in Gainesville.

Could name a number of other places too.

Good assessment. Oklahoma would be crazy to fire Stoops.

Stoops is similar to Mark Richt at UGA. Both have underachieved (although Stoops does have a NC). Richt has only won 2 SEC titles in his 14 seasons (and they were in his 2nd & 3rd seasons). He's a classic underachiever....but you never know, it may all come together for him one of these years. If they fire him the question is, 'who do they hire?'

UGA finally on the right track. Recruiting a dominant d is the answer. I think if bobo has a good showing at csu he will be back in the classic city as HC after CMR wins a natty

"Keith Ferentz" LOL. Keep in mind he coaches a team in a state of 2M white folks in the middle of a giant corn field. He is not a good game coach but he turns out some pretty good pros and his overall record is good. Overpaid? Hell yes! Should be fired? What great coaches do you think are pining to take the Iowa job? Thought so. Now Al Golden is a bum who wasn't very good at Temple and didn't deserve the Miami job.

Maybe somebody can talk Stoops into going back to his Alma mater

While I would agree with firing Fedora and probably London as well, none of these schools are really that committed to football and are willing to do what it takes to win. What good does firing a coach who has one arm tied behind his back do? I mean, if you can find one who is half way decent, like Ferentz for example why would you fire him and hire someone who most likely would be worse?
