As an NFL bettor in particular, Larry Merchant warned against being what he coined the "Master Of The Obvious" (MOTO). The season win over/under for SF reflects neglible expectations. I think Dennis Erickson is at best a sub-par NFL coach. Losing Mora as DC was pretty big. Garcia and Owens go without saying. My question is - How low is morale? Who are the vocal leaders - J.Peterson? Even though Barlow is fine and defense still boasts some decent players, I see a chance that SF drops half their games by 10+.
