bengals -2.5: this pick is more ant-49ers then pro bengals. 49ers have basically sucked on the road and last week's home game doesn't really count since it was against a high school team. bengals are basically out of the playoff race - but they will still come to play - and laying less than a FG here is a bargain.
vikings -3: this pick isn't on the vikings as much as it is against "da bears" who will be starting rookie rex grossman. take a look back at rookies starting their first-ever game. it ain't pretty! i see no reason why this will change this week. vikes get the money here.
rams -6.5: this pick is really simple - rams are great on the road - and the seahawks suck on the road. rams are 5-0-1 ats at home while seattle is 1-4-1 with the only cover against the cards - so that really doesn't count. rams laying less than 7 is a bargain.
eagles +115 (m/l): my rule of thumb is anytime a dog is getting less than 3 - take them on th m/l and make a few extra pennies. odds are if the dog doesn't win they won't cover - so here i'll take the extra $.25 with the team i feel will win. as far as "needing" this win - both teams do - eagles to stay the #1 seed in the nfc - and miami for the #6 seed in the afc. once we get past the "needing" to win part - th eagles are the better team and should win this one with ease.
