This game was so dissappointing to see them going to a pass attack instead of letting their huge OL pound the **** out of Uteps small front seven....after they first soften them up....then they can use the play action pass with more success....Damn La Tech's O-Line had to many holding penalties on Off...the reason why is because their Big ass lineman are not pass blockers they are run blockers and Uteps speedy DL and LBs were simply to quick for them....
Damn this one was so hard to listen to...Just like the Warriors the week before, not using the running offense that must be used against this Utep Defense....Damn these Coaches seem to be trying to outsmart Price by doing opposite of what they think he will expect...Stupid asses....Ariz St, Boise St, and even Fresno St exposed Uteps weakness on Defense....which is clearly the run Def...How in the hell can they not utilize their strength with Moats and this veteran O-Line to the fullest in this very important game....That int before the half leading to a FG...gave Utep all the momentum for the second half....
I am so sick of how La Tech played on Offense...This one could of been won by the Bulldogs....Damnit,...still, I do have to give a lot of credit to Utep and what Coach Price has done....I seriously didnt expect this team to get this type of solid victories in 3 back to back outings....Wow, this was a huge road win for them....Damnit Moats should of killed these guys....This matchup reminded me somewhat of how Tenn totally pounded the ball on the ground all game long against the smaller quicker players on the UNLV Defensive team earlier in the season....I felt La Tech should be able to do the same here with the same results.....Then by the start of the 4th..I was expecting Utep to be to bruised and battered on Defense, and that would be when La Tech would completely knock them out just like they did vs Nevada in their first game.....Ok enough crying on this one already.....****....GL on your next Big Bet and Aloha CC.
