It's clowns like Rail with his "2%" theories that make me laugh. I would wager that over 25% of all rapes never even get reported. Date rapes, teenagers on ectasy,etc, a lot of them don't ever bother going to the police. Rape is a serious crime, IMO, and should be punished. Unfortunately, it's also a hard crime to prove. If one of my female relatives had that happen to her the cops would be the last place I'd go. Hell, you can't do anything to the MF'er if he's in jail. But that's another issue.

I'm just sitting here thinking about what I posted concerning the non-reported rapes. I personally know three women that have told me they were assaulted and didn't go to the cops. Why not? I think shame is a big reason. And the fact that they just want to move on with their life and not be drug through a trial. One was just a few months ago. I offered to handle it for her but she said no, just to let it go. That's sad, IMO, but I'm not a woman so I can't really offer a more expert opinion into the way they think. the thing that scares me is the physical evidence side... I've had some rather violent consensual sex in my life, what if one of those women decides to cry rape afterwards?
