week 3 should provide the closest thing to the regular season feel, this being said here's a couple games of interest.

miami at tampa bay.

teams coming off a preseason shut-out loss have went 5-2 ats since 2001 including twice this year.

washington at st.louis.

sub .500 home favs off a road loss scoring 7 or less and surrendering 24 or more have went 13-5 ats since 1983.

oakland at arizona.

preseason teams off a 1 pt loss have went 15-1 ats since 1987 when facing a sub .500 opponent in the following game.

i usually don't provide system plays for preseason, but it is week 3 where teams tend to play a little harder and a little longer.

What up Game!! From NBA to NFL now.....

I'm leaning to TB in that game...Miami's rush offense is absolutly non existent thus far and TB's coming off a loss and at home...look'n into it still.
Really like OAK as well......ARI is awful. That stat you posted makes me like it even more...GL dude!!!

good hearing from ya RSS.

i think TB is going to be a lot of flash, smoke and mirrors once the regular season starts, but your right, miami doesn't have alot going for them either.

just for interesting reading there is some preseason stats for this weeks games on vegasexperts site.

nothing to bet the farm on, but stats are stats.

Here's another (yet similar) system play that favors StLouis: Preseason TEAMS OFF A WIN BY 10+ POINTS ARE JUST 4-21 ATS WHEN PLAYING A TEAM OFF BACK-TO-BACK LOSSES SINCE 1990. (Denver was a winner last week at Seatle).

And it makes handicapping sense that a team, esp a good team, is going to play pretty hard after B-to-B especially compared to a team that's coming off an ez win.
