I'll try and get some quick thoughts down on these, but I'm on the road at the moment.

Group E: Slovenia v Iceland (+0.5, +1, -110)

Iceland has been showing a bit of grit in their play of late and Slovenia is on a down swing from their form a year or so ago. Iceland has been playing fairly well, giving Switzerland a run for the money last time out, dominating Norway and winning away to Albania, yet they did lose a disappointing match at Cyprus.

Iceland has been on this fairly solid run sans some of their younger talent, so I think there is some value on this side here +0.5, +1 versus a flailing Slovenia side. Sigurdarsen (Wolves) and Sigthorsson (Ajax) are back at full health, which will only help the Icelandic side in this match.

Group E: Norway v Albania (+1, +120 and Under 2.5 -125)

Both sides struggle offensively and should be short on goals in this match. Expecting two goals or less it was difficult to pass up a +1 at plus money. The Norwegians simply haven’t impressed me and I could see the Albanians playing to a draw with the possibility of taking the full points. I’m expecting somewhere in 0-0, 1-1 or 1-0 either way in this matchup.

I see Bulgaria already scored in the first few minutes….not a great start for Malta +2 or Under 2.5, 3….

Group A: Croatia (-137) v Serbia

Croatia are extremely tough in Zagreb and should be too much for the young Serbs in this match. Croatia should be in dog fight for the top spot in the group with Belgium who already thrashed Serbia away. Croatia did manage a draw at Belgium, but know they need the full points at home or they could find themselves in a playoff to advance to the WC.

Group A: Macedonia v Belgium (-143)

I really like this Belgium side and think they could mold into a real threat at the WC and beyond. They are loaded with talent with Fellaini, Benteke, Hazard, Kompany, Lukaka, Mirallas, Dembele, Vertonghen…..

They seemed to have some difficulty gelling together, but I expect them to continue their progression and become a force in Europe. When they are on they can be magical, but they can appear broken a bit and will certainly miss Kompany on the back line.
