on another note does anyone watch House just before 24? What a show that is. Been watching it since it began, and each season has improved more and more. What a finale they had tonight. best show on television imo, and I watch a lot of programs

I'm not sure this is right but I like the other poster I don't understand at all why Tony would stop those missiles when his plan is to have terrorist attacks destabilize the country. Why not save himself a lot of grief and let those missiles fly?

next year will be the last season. jack is sick and dying from being exposed to whatever last week..

his daughter kim gets abducted next season and jack has 24 hours to save her . he finds her and dies in her arms...

At the half way point of this 2 hour final, I'm not sure about Tony roll in all this.
Seems that Tony is Setting up the Head guy to Meet and maybe Kill him ??
Just don't think he wants to meet him to work out a better deal.
Too many Twists and turns with Tony.

24 finally jumped the shark. The constant overkill of the women in power theme, the politically correct message that Muslims are our friends, the shameless CISCO plugs and the "Alan Wilson Project" finale plot culminated into one big pile of Hollywood

Great finale!

Season one and season four remain the best, but this is next for me. I didn't like it when Tony went "bad" a few weeks ago, but tonight's explanation was decent. Great acting too!

Now, back to football, at least until "24", season eight!

Do we know if the new season is scheduled for Jan 2010? They usually leave clues about the next season. I can't see where they have left to go to keep it fresh? Also what are we supposed to make of freckles going into Alan Wilson's room?
