As long as the best QB and the best coach in the league are paired up they have a pretty good shot.

Who are the teams who have a realistic chance to knock them down? Buffalo can't do it with McDermott as coach. Cincy just came up way short this year. Assuming Burrow is healthy they still have free agency and defensive issues. Miami is fraudulent. Same for the Chargers. Baltimore again has a shot to dethrone the Chiefs but I'm not a Harbaugh fan. Who's left in the AFC?

So the Chiefs have a great shot to get to the Big Game again. Then Reid can outcoach his opposition and Mahomes can outplay his opposition - again.

There's A Few Teams In The AFC That Intrigue Me For Next Season. I Want To See What The Jets Can Do With A Healthy Rodgers, What The Browns Can Do With A Healthy Watson, What Harbaugh And A Healthy Herbert Can Do, And I Expect Houston And Stroud To Be A Major Force In The AFC Also.

Good thoughts.

I made a mistake leaving out Houston. They are definitely a team on the rise. I do think that the Browns were decimated by injuries this year. But I'm not a Watson fan. I think they'd have a pretty good shot with a healthier team and Flacco under center. I do agree that the Jets with Rogers are a wildcard but that team quitting once the owner assured everyone that Saleh would be back is a very bad sign in my opinion.
