he could RF, he's looking good!! The best two swings i've seen in person: Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy

the course is a traditional older course, smaller sized greens, rough is crazy-- i mean fuckin crazy. Us amateurs would have a hard time finding the ball let alone getting a solid strike . Gotta drive it well here. Rory is swinging well. Holy shit the drive he hit @ 11? WTF. Connors busted one , had to be 330 ish. Rory was about 30yds- past him. He had about what looked like an 8 iron coming in on that par 5. He was moving the ball off the tee in either direction, a sign of confidence . Swing is so sick , dont think he's more than 5'9,lol

C Smith got things sorted yesterday. his transition is so cool -- it's like his hands are so passive in transition--they just fall, not pulling the hands. There's no 'rush' . Affable chap

its moving day!!!!!!!!

they r off, rained in the early am. Course will play long, softened greens. Aint no one winning this if they r erratic off the tee today. That rough in wet conditions? no chance. Softened greens = flag hunting . Of that star-studded final group, JT has been the most consistent off the tee this week.

to add;

this is big day for Finau. He was in the final group with Tiger , Molinari at Augusta and really didnt handle it well. This would his biggest win of his career for a couple of reasons- its a National Championship (3rd oldest golf tournament behind the US Open, British Open) and equally important if not more so --he's in the final group, paired with 2 of the game's biggest names

can he own the moment?

hahahaha!! awesome RF!!!!!!

what a finish at St George's Golf and Country Club!! Need some luck over 4 rounds of golf. Deadlocked and on the tee at 17-- JT drive's leaks right , blocked , ....Rory high sweeping draw falls a foot short of the thick grass, huge break . From the intermediate a wedge to 2 feet. Dagger at 18 with a knockdown 8 iron to 5 feet.

Scorching 62 on Championship Sunday

congrats Rory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Irish flags were out !!! back to back

how about the dig by Rory at Norman afterwards ; 'my 21st PGA victory , one more than someone else' .LOL Payback for Greg insulting him the week before , i suppose
