The 2021 Point Spread Madness Bracket Contest

After a 4 Year hiatus, The Point Spread Madness Bracket Contest is back. We only have 17 days to get this filled up so sign up ASAP and send your $55 entry fee to LTFL via PP, Venmo or Money Order (Addresses in SignUp Confirmation). All you have to do is wait for the random drawing to be conducted as soon as we fill the 64 spots. The draw will match your entry(s) (up to 4 per poster) to the team occupying the selected Region & Seed.

Once you identify your team, follow how it does against the spread throughout the Tournament. If your team beats the spread & wins outright, you move on with THAT team to the next round. If your team beats the spread but loses outright, you move on but ACQUIRE YOUR OPPONENT'S TEAM and your opponent is eliminated. Your team must beat the spread to move on.

Last 4 Remaining Will Cash.
Assuming we fill this:

Total Pot: $3200
1st Place: 50% - $1600
2nd Place: 30% - $960
3rd Place: 10% - $320
4th Place: 10% - $320

At this point, the best plan of action is to go with the first 32 entries and start the pool with the 2nd Round which begins Sun, Mar 21st.

There's no way we will fill this with 64 by Sunday.

Bowler would be refunded for 1 of his entries and we draw players randomly. After the 1st round, we draw the remaining teams to match up with the players.

Payouts will be reduced by half for all positions.

Consider this contest closed.

What’s the protocol if any games are cancelled?

If your team is disqualified, you're out. No other way to sugarcoat it. I'm hearing if the team has at least 5 eligible players, it can compete.

damn I whiffed on this, one of my favorite contests. Enjoy guys.

Me too. I completely spaced it

Sorry guys, I promoted it in the MAIN forum but response was sparse. I had to cut it off early... just didn't see it filling up in time.

Ok, stand by for the big draw. These are the 2 lists. Next post will be the lists shuffled up 10 times each using random. org

I have no stake in this so I will take the liberty to make the draw hoping there is no opposition.

First, the teams listed top to bottom and then the players matched up to the teams from top to bottom.

Contest will commence on Sunday, March 21st, start of the 2nd Round.

Good luck to all.

Bracket Updated

The winners of the 1st Round Games straight up will be your teams in the 2nd Round. From there your team must win ATS by the closing line @ SBR Sportsbook. A hook will be added or subtracted if needed to eliminate chance of ties. Odds will determine + or -.

Final Payouts:

Total Pot: $1600

1st Place: 50% - $800
2nd Place: 30% - $480
3rd Place: 10% - $160
4th Place: 10% - $160

I don't have a problem setting one up if there is enough interest. It would start Friday, so there would be 4 days to get entries.
