NFL Starts in less than 3 months, Ken and I will be around for those that need a proxy to put plays in for you for the year. I wanted to start the thread for those that might have questions since signups start JULY 1ST. $250 at signup and NO backend % is our fee. You can PM me here or write us at the email below.

There are some changes this year, they have done away with the $20,000 bonus for hitting 67% or higher instead they will give out $15,000 for the leader after week 4, week 8 and stick with the last 3 week mini contest...

New Contest in addition to Westgate Supercontest, they are introducing a $5,000 entry contest WINNER TAKE ALL format with the same rules, 5 games a week against the spread, sides only. I will continue to post information as it comes in.

Might as well post some of the info for those that are not familiar with the contest and might be interested, Golden Nugget and William Hill had contests last year and there may be new ones on the landscape.

THE 2017 WESTGATE FOOTBALL SUPERCONTEST is upon us, signups start July 1st. The only requirement is that you be 21 years of age or older. The signup fee is the same as last year $1500. Recently expanded the prize pool to pay more places(50) so that was applauded. I will continue to post information as I get it. The only requirement is that you be 21 years of age or older. The signup fee is the same as last year $1500.

Many people who are not from the area would like to enter the contest, however, are not able to submit picks every week. The contest has a solution where the players MAY AUTHORIZE A PROXY(a person authorized to act for you) TO SUBMIT THEIR SELECTIONS BY PROPERLY SIGNING AND AUTHORIZING SUCH, IN PERSON AT THE SUPERBOOK. People can share entries, actually a team of 4 won it a few years ago and took home over $700,000 from a prize pool over $2+ MILLION. We have many references as proxies from past and current entrants. The winner last year took home $900,000+ with a prize pool of $2.6 Million.

Many entrants who enter the contest also write off a portion of the entry fee as a marketing/business expense because they use their website or sports service for the entry name and is displayed throughout. To make it clear you are simply authorizing us to put picks in every week. PROXIES CANNOT COLLECT ANYTHING at the end from the sportsbook for your entry. You are simply authorizing us to put your plays in for you every week. The Westgate Contest is 5 games a week against the point spread, sides only. Many really like the format with 7 plays a week for 8 weeks picking games from the NFL/College Football board including totals. After the 8 weeks a bracket style head to head playoff format is formed from the best 8 records after the 8[SUP]th[/SUP] week of play. You are paid $3000 before playing out the head to head format. We will proxy for the William Hill contests that will be announced soon.

Brent Musburger was the 1st to signup for the Westgate Supercontest on July 1st.

So its clear they moved the Golf and Seminar Weekend to the Aug. 19-21 so not to compete or be the same weekend as the Mayweather/McGregor fight.
