This past winter i meet a woman who works with horses at a indoor track in ny state..i was taking her mother to the drs appt in my wheelchair van..she came along..we got stated talking horses...long story short she told me wait till clement comes to ny for the turf..but only from gallaghers stud..well he was 2 for 2 last week.....$23.....$3.80.......saturday belmont race 4,#3 maximova 8/1...he comes up tops for me also after doing the race...3-1-4......playing early pic 5 race 1. He looks tough, and may easily win the next leg in a couple of weeks, setting up the Belmont for another run at the Triple Crown...........
There was some slow times, a very slow final time of what 2:03 plus...............and the favorites took to the front and never were challenged.
I can not figure what happened to Upstart, looks like the jockey held him up and galloped him home........and the late scratch of International Star affected the running , I believe.
And it does not happen often, but if you look back at the Raw Times that each of these horses ran in the 1 mile 1/8........you had the trifecta......
