Hey buddy.....your fellow countryman is giving Germans a bad name....(Roxxyfish)....
Hope you are doing well and good luck the rest of the way through the World Cup and the upcoming NFL and College football seasons....
What did he do?
I'm fine, thanks. Pretty much stopped betting the WC about 2 weeks ago and probably good I did so because I doubt that I would have broken even...pregame def. down a bit, in game betting & trading might have made up for my losses, but broke even at best.
Went to a couple of games and just got back from Porto Alegre earlier this week.
I'm still convinced that Belgium will send Argentina packing today, even though I picture that game going to overtime and possibly penalty shootout. Would love to see a Brazil x Netherlands final in Rio, but start to doubt it (as much as I still think that Germany's defense & coaching sucks and that Özil is maybe the most overrated player, they def. looked better lately and with Neuer in fantastic shape, Hummels back and Lahm finally being moved back to play outside defender, they might get by Brazil with the Seleção missing Thiago Alves & Neymar.
Waiting for a response from a friend, still hoping to somehow score a ticket for the final, esp. if Holland is playing. He offered a CAT1 ticket for a bit more than 3k EUR, but not sure if that offer is still on the table. Wouldn't pay the 5k viagogo wants or risk buying tickets in front of the stadium from one of the cambistas since there are just too many fake tickets out there...
ref's just too much for Columbia to overcome.
Both Brazil goals off UN-warranted free kicks, just two of more than 25 they were gifted.
good luck vs Germany with out their best two players.
You have me confused: The 1st goal came after a corner kick, when the defender clearly touched the ball last when he tackled Neymar...and the foul causing the David Luiz goal looked like a good call, too, as far as I remember.
Ref didn't really favor anybody, allowed lots of contact on both sides and both teams equally took advantage of it. Tbh in my opinion Brazil hasn't been getting any favorism since that 1st game which incl. the laughable penalty call in favor of Fred that caused so much uproar. Pretty sure that the situation in the Chile game during the 1st half (iirc Hulk, but not sure who went down) would have been a penalty if it was Messi, Mueller or Robben. But since that 1st game refs seem to be even more reluctant to call penalties or free kicks around the penalty area if the outcome favored the home team.
Imo Brazil played their best game of the tournament today until Colombia scored. After that they completely lost any order and were rather lucky that there were only about 10min left and they somehow survived the final minutes.
Germany also played their best game so far imo in the 1st half, 2nd half was as bad as the games before and imo overall the game was very even, could have easily gone to overtime.
Dante should be able to replace Thiago Silva, I just hope it will be Dante who subs in instead of Henrique...Neymar obv. Brazils key player but got injured early in the Chile game and at least imo hasn't really done much in the 2 last games during knockout stage. So not sure how much of a loss that actually will be or if Willian can somehow come in and pick up Neymars role. At least during the 2nd half vs a weak Cameroon team he played well. And with Luiz Gustavo coming back from his suspension, the defense should be solidified (even more so since Maicon looked way better than Dani Alves did on the right defensive side).
Neymar's loss def. sucks, but should still be an entertaining game.
