Like I said, Mexico always gives Brazil fits, just not a good matchup. Next game vs Cameroon I expect them to score a bunch, based on Cameroons defensive performance vs Mexico (especially the way they defended outside against Mexicos wingers) Brazil should have a field day.
The draw should also pretty much secure a 1st place finish for Brazil in group A.
If Ghana beats Portugal 2-1 and US loses 1-0, we'd be even with Ghana on points and goal differential, but they've have one more goal scored, which would send us home. Not good. Fuck. Both are plausible results, although Germany's defense is kind of suspect.
There's no way Gha-Por ends in a draw. Both teams need a win since a draw is as good as a loss for both of them....so if the game is tied late, you're going to see each team take huge chances going forward to try to win it. Portugal really needs to run up the score too since a 1-0 or 2-0 win doesn't help their goal differential that much. Yep, over is the way to go on that game...
Glad you cashed on the USA +1 yesterday, JC. The ML should have won too...the whole defense fucked up on the last play. Why the US didn't have eight guys parked in their own third defending like their lives depended on it for those last 30 seconds is beyond me.
