We have made (30) thirty plays through Week 12 in the NFL Season thus far and stand at 19-10-1. I wanted to run some numbers for shits and giggles to see what we were doing well and what we can improve on as the final 10 selections are out there and we want as much profit as possible.
Of the 30 plays that we have made we are:
16-10-1 ATS on SIDES
2-0 ATS on TEASERS
1-0 ATS on TOTALS
Of the 27 sides we have played, 24 have been at a PK or an Underdog, we are 13-10-1 ATS on PK or Underdogs.
Of the 13 sides won ATS at a pk or dog, 10 of those sides won the game STRAIGHT UP (ML DOG WINNERS)
We are 3-0 ATS on FAVORITES; covering the spread in those selections by an average of 15 points above and beyond the number.
ALL 27 Side bets have covered the spread by an average of 3.1 points above and beyond the number.
The 2 Teaser bets have covered the number(s) by 53.5 points total (We are teasing the correct sides)
The 1 Total bet covered by .5 point (Totals only dial in tighter as the season goes on).
We are Dog players by nature; a very wise man once told me that when you bet an Underdog, 3 things can happen....and 2 of those things are good! I have lived by those words in the NFL for a while now. With that being said, our Chalk bets (as few and far between as they are) are covering and covering with room to spare. We need to keep an open mind on Chalk going into the Month of December.
Also, we need to look at making "side bets" on the ML with our Dog selections; perhaps we start that next season as we have left money on the table by not making a % bet on the ML on all of our Underdog selections.
Let's work together as we move through Thanksgiving and into December to finish this NFL Season strong and win as much money as possible. There are a lot of good minds in this forum containing a wealth of knowledge and a vast amount of experience; let's utilize our resources and help one another out to put more money into each of our pockets.

I've been enjoying checking out your posts and selections. I find that we make a lot of the same plays, though you are much more disciplined than me. Since you broke down some of your picks above, I wanted to point out that it seems like you rarely lose on home teams but are closer to .500 with away teams...

A&F....longtime Bucs fan here, but as a good fan/capper does, I bet w/my head, not my heart, and generally have a good objective read on Bucs games, a la Harrington w/ his Bills. That being said, I do in fact like the Bucs today at the New Sombrero vs. Cincy. Lovie searching for his first home win, team should be fired up. More importantly however, on my end, this is more of an anti-Cincy play than it is one on Tampa. Think it's a tough spot for the Bengals playing 3rd straight on the road, and every year they seem to drop a few stinkers; today could be one of those for the cats. I like TB on the ML.

Steiner, I appreciate your nsight and am glad to know we're on the same page on this one. I'm a life long Bengals fan and expect them to struggle today. A 3 point win would be perfect.
. Feeling the Pat O'Brien Hurricanes as I sit on the plane about to depart the big easy. We are playing the Chiefs today as well. Thanksgiving was terrible at the window but a great weekend in the College Foots and a lot of partying in the Quarter. Lets get it today!
