Didn't the WSOP used to be in April and May?....this is great news for teachers who have the summer off and want to take a crack at some of these tourneys. I think a teacher made the final table last year and won over $640,000 when he went out.

I have no idea of the payout structure for this year

Last year's however was 2576 players last year with 225 places paid.

First place - 5 million dollars
Second place - $3.5 million
Third place - $2.5 million
Fourth place - $1.5 million
Fifth place - $1 million
225th place - $10,000

That teacher fella was the guy in the glasses and the WSOP jacket weren't he? Glenn Hughes?
