I think he was just afraid to let the game go to Overtime. He learned from McNabb that a game could end in a tie and he got scared of going to Overtime so he fouled the guy.

I can't believe I just made fun of my own team. Who the hell ties the Bengals?

As long as McNabb is the QB for the Eagles.. the Eagles will remain in limbo. He's just not the same McNabb that took them to the Super Bowl..

The guy probaby thought that they were down a point and thought that he needed to foul.

The response by Horne about the foul just made me throw up in my mouth....

I actually think the first foul was smart. You get the last shot to win the game. The second foul was retarded.

Odds are he wont make both. Now you have the ball and should win the game. It's not the greatest idea but its not the worst.

Its pretty bad.

All you need is one stop. If the kids makes the 1st, he probably makes the 2nd FT.

If you miss and then have to foul again, you could be down 4.

If you think your there is correct, please show me the next game where a team tied with the other team holding for the last shot intentional fouls.

I would't always do it but sometimes I think its a smart play. Obviously the first foul wasn't that bad because Arizona had the ball with a chance to win the game at the end.

That is just a stupid statement....Popovich may foul Shaq in that situation but the guy was a 70% ft shooter anyway so the odds are that he would have made both...If the scoreboard operator didn't ice him you never know. If it was such a good move why was the coach so annoyed. Both fouls were absolutley terrible and showed no court awareness, time awareness, coaching ability nor should horne or fogg be able to make decisions on their own. I can see Fogg getting caught up in the moment of the offensive board and not realizing the situation but for Horne not to know they were tied is ridiculous

fouling at any point in the game when it's tied is stupid imo

however, if i were up 3 and there was only 1 pos left in the game, i'd foul...not sure why more teams don't do it. the odds of getting a rebound in that situation on top of hitting the front end are just so rare. you see so many more times someone ends up hitting a 3.
