with both towers already hit the city freaked out when flight 93 made a u-turn around Cleveland and headed straight for Pittsburgh. quickly the local news started reporting that the US Steel Building was their likely next target but it passed over PGH and went down 80 miles southeast in Shanksville

I flew in to spend a week at a client site and I had arranged for one of their IT people to take an admin course that week for a software package I was deploying. I told him 'it begins on Sept 11th, right across the street from the WTC, can't miss it!' He saw some fucked up shit that day but thankfully still has zero health problems today.

it was two hours before he was able to get through to the business and let everyone know he was ok. longest two hours of my life right there. he saw body parts in the streets and on top of crushed cars, airplane parts, sick stuff. At the site, employees gathered on the roof of one of the buildings and watched both buildings collapse. After the first one fell, the guy standing next to me said...."my Dad works in that building." I never found out what happened to him.
