Whitecaps v. Toronto FC

2 unknown quantities in many ways. Vancouver has continuity with Coach Thordarson but untested in MLS. TFC is retooling yet again with HC Winter bringing in a Dutch "Total Football" sensibility.

Both clubs do have solid keepers.

Whitecaps have 2 promising teens, whom I have seen in preseason. F Salgado, who will be eligible in Sep when he turns 18yo. M Teibert who is poised beyond his years.

The Reds will be w/o De Guzman....not sure if this is good/bad.

Empire Field, temp home venue for the Whitecaps, has a FieldTurf surface.

RBNY v. Sounders

The Red Bulls had problems in attack last season and this has continued into the 2011 preseason. Henry notwithstanding there is a lack of a playmaker. Big things expected for teen F Agueldo but can he deliver?

Seattle will be w/o M Zakuani. He gives them much needed pace on the outside. Outside of Montero there is a lack of attacking flair.
