Still looking at the games so I will post just my Noon game right now.

Drexel (+6)
Drexel is not a member of the Big 5 and always plays their Philly counterparts tough.

Temple is just awful right now. I have been burned by them twice this year. Knowing my luck they will play awesome today, but I have to go with Drexel here.

Temple has been horrible but always remember how Chaney gets his team turned around when you don't suspect it. With that being said , I also lean towards Drexel. Gl

1 PM Plays:

Bowling Green (-3)
BG has been pretty easily handled in their Last 2 roadies (Bradley and Buffalo). So why do I take a favored MAC team who lost at Buffalo over a Big 10 team. Exactly.

Northwestern has lost by double digits on the road at DePaul and at Florida State.

BG returned all 5 starters (even though 1 of them is out here). I don't trust NW away from home.

Wright State (+3)
Ball State comes off 2 huge home wins (Xavier and Butler). Meanwhile, Wright State is 0-3 and lost at home to Cedarville (I know they are definitely not Div 1). However, they are only getting 3 or 2.5 at home to an improved BSU team.

BSU has 3 new starters and new starters tend to struggle gelling with the team in early road games.

Wright St still has 2 big-time scorers (Hollins and Doliboa) and I think they keep this close and likely win outright.

2 PM Plays:

St. John's (+24')
This is purely a contrarian play. The Red Storm are 1-3 and Duke comes off their road win over Michigan State.

I don't buy into the whole revenge thing here. Coach K said "we shouldn't have statement games, we should just go and play".

I think the Johnnies can hang in here.

UAB (+7)
The Blazers return 4 starters and were one of the hottest teams in the country at the end of last year.

UAB has a lot of speed and quickness. They also have smothering defense that Mike Anderson learned as an Asst at Arkansas.

UAB led the nation in steals last year and I think Miss State is a little overrated this year even with the addition of Lawrence Roberts.

Adding:

South Florida (+8)
Nebraska off a huge win over Arizona State. This is kind of a big number between 2 evenly matched teams.

Maryland (-2')
Another system play here. The Zags just blew out their in-state rival (Washington). Now they criss-cross the country again to play Maryland in DC.

I like this situation for the Terps.

Stanford (+6)
KU is #1 right now by default. Even without Childress, Stanford has enough shooters (Lottich and Davis) to keep this close.

Rhode Island (+2')
Providence will get a chance to face a big-time opponent and get national respect on Tuesday when they play Illinois in the Jimmy V Classic. However, their in-state rival is chomping at the bit and Providence may look ahead to that showdown on Tuesday.

Missouri (-3)
I hate giving points to IU at home, but they just do not match up well here. MU gets deeper with the addition of Conley and Pulley here shortly. However, they have a pretty good team already even with lackluster performances against Oakland and Coppin State.

BYU (-3)
System play here again.

Austin Peay (+9)
The Governors returned 5 starters this year.

Austin Peay starts 4 seniors and a junior and Alabama is very young and still learning to play together.
